The last painting before the ✨BIG SHIFT✨

“Big Shift”? I just like the dramatics! 😂

On a real note, this move is definitely a big shift for me. It represents more than just relocating my art studio. It also represents an energetic upgrade for myself, my art, & my career. For the past 10 years (crazy to think that its been that long), I’ve been sharing my colorful creations with the world. I’ve mostly done this as a self-represented artist using social media & attending in-person events, like local art fairs & pop-ups. It’s time for a change.

During this next chapter, I’m looking forward to collaborating with more galleries, museums, & arts organizations that will share my work with a community of avid art collectors. Over this past decade, I have dedicated myself to refining my craft and pushing the boundaries of my creativity. The support and appreciation for my art have been a significant driving force behind this journey, and for that, I’m so grateful.

As my work continues to gain recognition and my artistic vision expands, I have made the decision to adjust my painting prices to reflect this growth…hence the BIG SHIFT ✨

I must express my heartfelt gratitude for my patrons & collectors who have already taken the opportunity to own an original. These investments in my work have been instrumental in reaching this new milestone.

I will forever remember Janell as being the first collector to pick up a painting in my new art studio 💕THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I have one painting left…

It’s been my goal to make original paintings available, first, to my patrons. Back in April, I informed my community on Patreon about my new art studio & the availability of these 3 archival paintings from my early career. I was honored that two of these originals were claimed by my closest supporters. My patrons were informed that I would make the remaining painting available to the public soon. That day has come…

The last painting before the Big Shift is “Reign of the Butterfly”. This orange butterfly with a splash crown was created during a time of my own metamorphosis. A play on words from Kendrick Lamar’s album “To Pimp a Butterfly”, I wanted to reclaim the power of butterflies. No longer exploited (pimped) by people or industry executives, they are finally recognizing their own majesty and persevering through hard times despite their watery eyes.

“Reign of the Butterfly”; 30”x36” on stretched canvas; $2,000 $4000

If this painting is speaking to you, I would love to make it available. Contact me at aramis@aohamer.com to learn more about the payment options. And YES, you can pick it up from my new art studio if you like!

I can’t wait to open the doors to the public. For now, I’m still getting settled & brainstorming fun Seattle events that I can host in the space. Thank you to everyone who has been an integral part of my artistic journey. I look forward to creating more art & events that inspire and resonate with you 💕
