You’re invited to the Closing Reception

The Once Upon a Spacetime exhibit is coming down in less than 2 weeks. It’s crazy how fast time flies! We’re officially hosting the closing reception on May 4th from 2-4p.m. PST at Arte Noir. You’re invited! Just this past Sunday, I was apart of a panel discussing Octavia Butler’s book Parable of the Sower. Did you know that my middle name is Octavia? 💕Reading Butler’s book felt like a connection of 2 souls in different lifetimes 🥰 Talking about spirituality, art, literature, and Afrofuturism surrounded by my paintings was surreal! I hope to continue the conversation & share even more insights around what inspired my paintings during the artist talk at the closing reception.
