Hi, Iā€™m Aramis.

I am a splash, acrylic painter and muralist who loves making a mess. As an emerging artist, I spend majority of my days in the studio creating the colorful images that are slowly becoming my signature style. The basic themes found in my work are strong color contrasts, exaggerated subject matter and drip techniques where I try to stretch the boundaries of surreal, pop, and abstract art. Integrating imagery of strong, sensual goddesses and cosmic landscapes reflects my admiration for the divine feminine. Music is definitely one of my main inspirations. Songs are like stories that continue to inspire my all of my work.

My acrylic paintings are inspired by divine femininity, music, higher consciousness, and the cosmos. Liberation is my life's work- to free myself from the chains that could hold me back mentally, physically, and spiritually. My paintbrush reminds me of the creative power I have within the canvas - and life. As I take this journey to freedom, I hope to inspire others along the way.

My Approach

I create my works of art using acrylic paints. I made the decision to pursue my art career after leaving my hometown in Chicago and moving to Seattle in 2013. With the support of my family and husband, Andy, I dedicated myself to art . I, now, pride myself on being a full-time, professional artist where I get to spend my days creating the world I want to see.

A Day in the Life of An Artist:

Sorry to burst the bubble: it's not always sunshine and rainbows. It can be hard work, but I wouldn't want to spend my days any other way. My Seattle studio allows me to stretch my imagination while not worrying about making a mess. I'm usually vibin' out to good music while applying the brush to the canvas. Music is one of my main inspirations because lyrics can be like stories, waiting for an illustration.

Nurse turned Artist: "Interactions with my patients reminded me to be grateful for my health and happiness"

Working as critical care RN taught me that life is short. I started to ask myself the question: Well, what are you going to do with it? I made the decision to live my life to the fullest by using my gifts to share the message of liberation. Follow my journey on Instagram. I'm @Mis_Liberation [go figure ;)]

Be the light.

At the end of the day, my goal is to embody light and love. As a spirit-being having a human experience, I feel that I was put on this planet to play, learn, and grow. I hope that you will join me on this journey.
